Kia ora, welcome to Akaroa World radio's web site. Akaroa radio broadcasts into the Akaroa Basin area with spill over to the remote back bays. Akaroa Radio also streams onto the internet. We are a community type station and don't make commercial profit. Our focus is to provide value radio services to visitors and local people alike here on Banks Peninsula in New Zealand but as time goes on there has been a shift to broadcasting to the world at large. Our goals simply are to provide easy listening radio twenty four hours a day adding value to those listening and to advertisers using the service.
