Akaroa World Radio had it’s roots as a community Radio and now streams to thousands of listeners world wide.

Welcome to Akaroa World radio's web site. Akaroa radio broadcasts into the Akaroa Basin area. Akaroa Radio is also streaming onto internet. We are a community type station and don't at the moment make a profit. Our primary focus is to provide value radio services to visitors and local people alike here on Banks Peninsula in New Zealand but over the years there has been a shift to broadcasting to the world at large via the internet. Our goals simply are to provide easy listening radio twenty four hours to our loyal listeners and to advertisers using the service.
